Many years ago, two alvin sprung up from the bed of a river. The only two to hatch out of about two thousand eggs laid. Eddie and Angel. These two baby salmon now prepare to start their life as fish. Being brother and sister they swore to each other they would have each others backs and be there for one another. So the two alvin always had help as they grew into fry. This gave them and advantage over others. Having another fish to help you out made it so much easier to avoid predators such as birds. The fish weren't big enough to be wanted by fisherman or other animals such as bears and fox's. That also made it easier to survive. As they grew in to smolt things really changed for the two fish. They were now desirable for fisherman and bears and other animals. Life as they knew it had now become a challenge. The two siblings are now entering the ocean phase of their life. And it is time for the two to begin their long journey to the ocean where they will live for several years.
The two salmon now began their trip down the Santiam river to the ocean. The knew this was going to be a hard trip but no matter what they had each other. Just as they began their journey another salmon approached them asking to travel with them. He introduced himself as Tommy. Angel and Eddie both agreed to help as well as get help from their new friend. Tommy had a lot of questions about the journey. He asked what could go wrong and what is out there that could try and hurt them. The siblings explained to him about fisherman and land animals that would attempt to eat him. Tommy was extremely confused about it all. “Why would animals eat other animals” he asked. Angel and Eddie began to get angry with Tommy. The questions and stories just came and came. Finally Angel could not take it and turned to him and screamed “Oh my god! Just shut up!”. And right as she shouted this a hawk swooped down from out of no where and took tommy right out of the water. The two swam away as fast as they could trying to find shelter. It began to hit the two how real this is. Angel began to cry. “What's wrong Angel, Why are you crying? ” asked Eddie. Angel began to yell about how close that was to being her. Eddie began calming her down. He told her that they should get some sleep and start their journey again in the morning. She agreed.
While Eddie slept like a baby, Angel could hardly sleep. She was to concerned about predators to get even a wink of sleep. After hours of just sitting awake, morning comes and Eddie finally awakes. “Ready to go?” He asked Angel. There was no answer. As soon as he took a look at her he knew she was to tired to go on without sleep. He was angry that she had not slept, but he calmed himself and tried to convince her to get a couple hours of sleep so the two could move on. “I will watch and make sure you are safe.” Eddie said. Angel agreed. She quickly fell asleep. So Eddie decided to go and find something to eat. He swam out from under the shrub the two had stayed in the night before and glanced around the river. Immediately he notices a large swarm of bugs sitting on the surface of the
river in a pool running off the side of the river. He slowly approached the pool sneaking up looking for the largest bug. As quick as he could he sprints toward the surface and catches the bug in his mouth. When he begins o swim back to his sister he notices something floating and wiggling in the distance. Eddie realizes it is a worm floating around in the river. He begins to dart towards the worm and right as he is about to bite down on this worm he stops. He comes to his senses and realizes the worm is on a hook. He is very happy he caught himself but decides not to tell his sister because it will most likely get
her more worked up then she already is. He heads back to the shrub where his sister is sleeping to wake her.
He whispers “sis, sis, Wake up its time to leave.”. She says nothing. He says it again, a little louder this time. “Sis, Sis, Wake up its time to go. Come on...”. Still she doesn't respond. Eddie begins to get scared. So he frantically starts screaming”Angel!! Wake up! please please wake up!”. Finally she jumps up and yells”BOO! Ha ha ha ha”. She laughs hysterically. “That was not funny! Not at all” Eddie shouts. Angel says “Oh relax you big baby. Come on, we need to get moving”. So the two began their trip once again. This time Angel is not so worried or scared as she was before. So Eddie still decides not to tell his sister about his encounter with the fisherman. Angel decides she wants to get something to eat, so she heads to the surface to catch a bite to eat. Eddie rush's her, anxious to get on their way. He chooses to wait for her on the other side of the river, but when he turns to swim away he can see fish hooks every where. He knows there are a lot of humans fishing at this time. The he says to him self “wait... What if she bites a hook?!?” So he turns and dashes towards the area Angel was looking for food. As he approaches her he sees she is about to bite a hook. “No! Angel don't, it's a hook!” Eddie screams, but angel cannot hear him and bites down on the hook. Suddenly she is yanked towards the surface of the river. Eddie races towards her as fast as he could, but it wasn't fast enough. She is pulled out of the water and out of Eddies life. He cannot believe his eyes. His sister was just taken by a human and he did nothing. He now does not even want to continue his trip to the sea. Suddenly he hears a splash. Angel shouts”Brother!”. He is so happy. He cannot believe what just happened. They both agree to forget that ever happened and move on. “We are going to go and nod not stop for anything until we get to the sea. Let's go sister.” Eddie said. So the two of them head out, on their way once again.
After a few days the two salmon make it to the sea. So happy to even be alive. Neither of them had had any sleep or anything to eat and are beginning to become weak. So they begin looking for food
and a place to rest. A few hours go by and they are getting ready to go to sleep. They had found food and are now ready for bed.
Years go by and the two lived happy, healthy lives. The ocean has been good to the two fully grown salmon, but soon they must begin their journey back to the place where they started. So the two fish awake early and get a bite to eat before they go. After years it is now a snap for the two fish to find
food, and a snap for them to avoid larger fish and fishing hooks. So it took them very little time to get some food. Then Angel, and Eddie head toward the place where they hatched. They figured the trip back would be much much easier than the trip there. The begin to enter the river and they can see thousands of hooks float about in the river. They begin to doubt the simplicity of this journey. The two are terrified along with over a thousand other fish making the journey as well.
The two make it through this massive wall of fisherman and continue they're trip up river. the two begin to swim faster almost as if they were racing up the river. Eddie starts to yell “I'm winning, ha ha. I'm winning!” He glances back to see his sister and when he turns around he smacks into another fish. “I'm sorry. Really it was an accident.” Eddie said to the fish. Then the other fish turns around and says “it's okay. Hi, I'm Sally.” Then Angel swims up. Wondering what is going on. Sally and Eddie just stair at one another, not saying a word. It was as they had just fallen in love. Angel said “are you too going to sit there all day or are we going to finish this trip.” Sally asks The two if she can travel with them. She has no one because her best friend was just taken by a fisherman and all her other friends had left her behind. Eddie immediately shouts yes. On they way Sally and Eddie could not stop talking to on another. Just telling every little detail about themselves. They all three get along fine, and it looks as if the two are becoming more than friends. Their journey is going along just fine. Until the salmon were very close to the place where they were hatched. Sally and Eddie decide to have their kids together. As they look for a place for Sally to lay her eggs Angel is snatched out of the water by a bear. The bear immediately eats Angel in one bite. Eddie freaks out. Crying uncontrollably. He then becomes
angry. He decides that he has to continue. Angel would want him to continue and continue their family.
So he does. Everything went fine with the eggs. The two new it was almost time for their lives to end. The wanted to die together. So as they became weaker and weaker they found a place to be as they past.
Then Eddies sight begins to get darker and darker until finally he passes. Sally begins to cry. But she to begins to pass. Her breathing gets harder and harder, and then it stops. These salmons lives now end. They had lived happy healthy lives and now it is over.

Assisted suicide
I think that assisted suicide should be legal but only for those who have a terminal illness or those who are elderly and close to passing on anyway. Assisted is a lot better then if they were to do it by themselves. There are many suicides committed by elderly people. So if they ask for it they might as do it for them. Most likely if they ask for, it either way they are going to do it.

Stem cell research
In my opinion I think stem cell research is very wrong and should not be permitted. Killing a new and healthy life to save another is wrong. It is very morally wrong. It is basically murder. Even though it helps another person live longer or healthier it's wrong to take a new life that has not been lived yet to help another live longer.

Commercialized Christmas
I don't think christmas is to commercialized. I think that people have holiday spirit. But at the same time companies do what they have to do to make money.
Best christmas
Really i don't think i have had a best christmas. I really enjoy christmas at my house. I have a really big family so every year brings different things and new traditions. I haven't had a favorite. They all are my favorite. It is always fun and exciting. Every year it gets better and better. I really don't care about what i get or what i want, for the most part i don't eve look forward to that. I look forward to my whole family coming over and what funny things will happen and what jokes will be made, or stories will be told.
Smoking?
Should smoking be banned? Well i think if you want to smoke it is your choice. But then there is the problem of second hand smoke. If people are dyeing from other peoples dumb choices then it should be banned. Not for the sake of smokers but for the sake of the ones who make the better choice not to smoke and are still effected by it.

Immigration #2
I still think a fence would benefit the U.S. economy. The debate really didn't change my thoughts. No matter what other people say we are still being over ran. Think head five years, what will the united states look like.
Broad minded
It means to be open minded. Like the type of person who thinks about how the other person would feel.
